With a view to generate & develop the enterprising insight & acumen in the budding engineers; to meet the rising demands of the global business world and stay one step ahead, Nuva organized Eureka-2011- the intercollegiate workshop on "The Business –Planning" by IIT Bombay & Nurture Talent Academy, India's 1st training institute for entrepreneurs on 8-9-11 ;wherein the students of various colleges had participated.
Mr. Amit Grover, the founder Nurture Talent Academy & a member of Mumbai Angels, India's premier group of angel investors was the presenter and counselor in the workshop. The dignitaries; Prof. D.R.Raut -vice Principal, Prof. N.G.Thakre- HOD 1st year, Dr. Debashish Bhaumik-HOD Physics Dept. were present on this occasion. In his address to the students, Prof. Raut emphasized on the positive attitude and perseverance, the basic qualities for the entrepreneurship.
To start with, Mr. Amit Grover took out the raw ideas in the students about the entrepreneurship and on those sparkling ideas of the students; he prepared the platform of his explanation and interaction. The participants benefited significantly by his proficient knowledge and practical experience of 25 deals in last 4 years. They learnt about; how to setup a company, finance for entrepreneurs, marketing for entrepreneurs and business plan for entrepreneurs, advertising structure so on and so far. The workshop did a world of good to the students. It consummated with distribution of the certificates to every participants.
Like every activity of the institute this one was also, "for the students, of the students and by the students". The workshop was skillfully & successfully organized by the students. Amongst them, Ms. Pranita Balgujar, Mr. Pratik Jaipurkar, Mr. Niraj Kotkamwar, Mr Pratik Joshi,Abhishek Jha, Ms.Shweta Sinha are worth- mentioning who took great efforts for success of the workshop. Dr. Debashish Bhumik HOD Physics ably guided the students.
