Induction Programme ‘Aarambh 2008' was conducted for first year B.E students of Nuva college of Engineering and Technology at the college premises on 22nd Aug 2008. The Programme was primarily organized to welcome the first batch of Nuvaites and familiarize them with the Nuva faculty and staff. It was conducted by Dr. Pratibha Mahato, Asst. Professor, Department of Humanities. The show was inaugurated by the first two students of Nuva viz.
Speaking on the occasion were Dr. Vivek Bhore - Principal, Prof. Devendra Raut - Vice-Principal, Mr. Chandra Bhople- Director of Academics, Mr. Sarang Raut- Director of Operations, Mrs. Swapna Raut- Director of Human Resources, Mr. Jogy Scaria- Director of IT Infrastructure. The programme also gave opportunity to the students and their parents to voice their concerns and also to showcase their hidden talents.
The entertainment Programme consisted of a live band show which was organized by Mr. Debashis Bhowmick - Department of Physics, Incharge- Student Development. An elaborate lunch was spread for the students, parents and faculty. The programme was concluded by Mr. Narendra Thakre, Department of Engineering Mechanics and In-Charge- Discipline. Mr. Abhijit Nair- Administrative Officer and all other faculty members worked hard to make this event a success. Gracing the occasion were Mr. Abhijit Dudhane- Chairman, Sarvasiddhanta Education Society and Mrs. Sunita Chichghare - Member.
Nuva took its first step towards' Making Good Engineers'. |
