One day workshop on recent trends in Nano Technology

A one day workshop on “RECENT TRENDS IN NANOTECHNOLOGY ” was organized by the Department of Physics, Nuva College of Engineering & Technology, Khapri(Kothe) on 9th July 2009. Resource Faculties for the workshop were Dr. K. G. Rewatkar, Reader, Dr. Ambedkar College, Nagpur. and Dr. Vivek Nanoti Dean Administration, P.C.E., Nagpur.

Speaking on the occasion Dr. J. F. Agrawal Principal, Nuva reaffirmed the commitment of Nuva towards the promotion of R & D activity not only at the institute level but in all of its form. Prof. D. R. Raut Vice-Principal, Nuva stressed upon the need for such workshop very frequently so as to evolve better technology for the mankind.

Dr. Nanoti in his inaugural speech impressed upon the importance & usefulness of informal technical discussions in such workshops. Dr, Renuka Nafde of Nuva delivered her Guest Lecture on “Goal setting & steps involved to proceed for research in material science”.

Co-ordinator of the workshop Mr. Debashis Bhowmick in his introductory remarks delivered some Facts & Myths of Nano-science & Nano-technology. Participants from 15 different colleges participated in the workshop.

Mr. Tushar Shende Proposed the vote of thanks. Mr. Debabrata Dey, Mr. Ashish Kuril worked hard for the success of the workshop.
