| Literary Club Inauguration | |
| On Saturday 13.09.08, Nuva College of Engineering & Technology inaugurated its literary Club with the event of elocution competition. Prof. Devendra Raut, Vice Principal of the college, addressed the students on the occasion. Dr. Pratibha Mahato, the literary, Club in charge threw light on the objectives of the club. She emphasized that the objective of the club was to provide a common platform for all those students of the college who wanted to develop their confidence in spoken & written skills. Mr. Swapnil Fulzele, the President of Literary Club, introduced the office bearers of the club. Minal Ganatra, Vice President of the club briefed about the various events to be organized by the club during 2008-2009. On this occasion an elocution competition was held in the presence of the judges, Mrs. Swapna Raut (Director HR) Prof. Devashish Bhaumik (In charge of student Development) Prof. Nitin Jambhorkar, alumni of BITS Pilani who was the chief guest of programme. The topics of the competition were, a) Role of Engineers in the development of nation today. b) “A stitch in time saves nine” relevance of this proverb to an engineer. Winners: Mandar Tulankar got the 1st prize. Sanchi Murayya got the 2nd prize. Ms. Saili Wekhende proposed the vote of thanks. |
