Student Development Programme for B.E. Second Year

Under the aegis of Student Development Cell of Nuva and Rotary Club, Nagpur Chapter, a week long Holistic Development Programme (HDP) for B.E. Second Year students will be organized from 21st November to 27th November 2009 at Nuva College of Engineering & Technology, Nagpur. The main objective of this programme is to aware engineering students about real holistic development through social, economical, mental and physical health. The programme includes following activities:
 
Health Care Camp for Rural people (21st-22nd  Nov. 2009)

Muster health status of rural people and its analysis. On basis of analysis a special health camp will be organized. To make aware the rural people about health, sanitation and addiction through street play and cultural programme. To check the feasibility of NSS camp in village.
   
Industrial Visit (23rd-24th Nov. 2009)

Visit to industries viz Indoram, Lloydsteel, Infospectrum and world-class technical institute viz VNIT will be made.
   
Personality Development (25th-26th Nov. 2009)

The mental and physical soundness reflects the overall personality of the man. Various aspects of the personality and personality traits will be discussed. Aptitude tests, mental math, reasoning, logical test will be conducted. Group discussion is the highlight of the personality development programme.
   
Community Welfare Services (25th-26th Nov. 2009)

To acquaint rural students with modern technologies based on basic science. These presentations will be delivered by student participants in Junior Colleges of nearby villages.  This way the students will be brought in contact with rural students to exchange the information.
   
Technical Talks (27thNov. 2009)

Renowned personalities in the realm of engineering and technology will deliver special lectures. 
   
Talks on Management (27thNov. 2009)

Experts from management will deliver lecture. The challenges in management due to rapid technological development and globalization will be emphasized in this programme.
